<On a Path>

The monastery is located at the meeting point of two pilgrimage roads in Spain.

The project is about walking a path.

The life of a monk striving to follow God’s law and return to that path whenever he strays.

But it is also about our own lives.

Birth and death are the only certainties.

Between them, we experience moments of brightness and joy.

Yet life is not only light.

There are intervals of darkness between those highlights.

Walking this monastery is an experience of alternating light and shadow.

Even when we move through darkness, we are always walking toward light.
